Illumination 1

SOFTlab is collaborating with artist Michael Somoroff in the development of Illumination I, a large-format sculpture and accompanying video. We worked closely with the artist and developed all of the modeling, rapid prototypes, and scale prototypes for the sculpture. The final manufacturing took place at Kreysler in California. The sculpture was on display at the Rothko Chapel in Houston in the Fall of 2006. The animation will be on display at Bravin/Lee Programs in New York City in the Summer of 2007.
